Start young! Small champions can experience a fun sportive day with their friends, brothers or sisters on April 13, 2025. KidsRUNs of approximately 1,000 meters take place in 10 different places in Enschede. This top performance naturally includes a real "big people" medal that your mum and dad will be jealous of. Everyone between 3 and 12 years old can participate.
Start young and you will continue when you are old.
Begin at a young age!
You can choose from 10 different starting locations. There must be one in your area! And if you also want to fight for a cool spot on the stage, you can also participate in the KidsRUN in the center. Here the first three “super fast champions” are honored on the stage where the winners of the marathon also receive their prizes. This KidsRUN only starts at 3.15 p.m., so there is plenty of time to chill in between and recover from your morning performance. Your bib number is therefore valid at the various KidsRUN locations! This way you can walk in your own neighborhood in the morning and participate in the KidsRUN in the center in the afternoon.
Enschede Marathon organizes the Humankind KidsRUN in collaboration with Sportaal.
Participate?
You can also register on the day itself, so on April 13. You can do this at the special stall at the starting location.
Tips
– Put your phone number on the back of the start number
– Children from group 1 may be accompanied by a maximum of 1 parent during the KidsRUN
Humankind KidsRUN Center – 3.15 pm
Especially before the start of the KidsRUN Center, the Fit&Fun Team of Humankind will provide a nice warming up on stage. From 2.45 pm, children gather in front of the stage at the H.J. van Heekplein for the warm up. After the warm-up, the children are guided from here to the start. Award ceremony will take place on the podium at the finish on the Boulevard.

Enschede Marathon has been supporting Stichting Kans voor een Kind for many years. This is reflected in an annual financial contribution, which is used entirely for the fulfillment of children’s wishes. In addition, the Kans voor een Kind logo is placed on various expressions wherever possible to further increase the brand awareness of this Twente foundation.
Foundation Kans voor een Kind aims to, temporarily or for a longer period of time, reduce the physical and/or social suffering of children from the Twente region who, without the financial help of children of third parties, have no view of an improvement in the personal situation
