Developments related to the Corona virus and the Enschede Marathon

We have taken note of the cancellation of the various marathons. Of course we warmly welcome all runners in Enschede, but we would also like to point out that due to the developments, the continuation of the Enschede Marathon is not guaranteed. We monitor the situation from day to day and will make further decisions in consultation with all those involved in the coming weeks. These are communicated directly via the usual channels.

The organization of the Enschede Marathon follows developments closely and we keep a close eye on the advice and updates from RIVM, GOHR and GGD. For the time being, the event will continue, but developments are moving fast and the situation is changing from day to day. If there is any news, we will immediately report it on this website and our media and communication channels.
