Your registration before April 19, 2020 was automatically converted to April 18, 2021. It has now been announced that the Enschede Marathon and De Twee van Enschede will be moved to a later date in 2021 and that your starting number will be automatically converted . If you have any questions about this, take a look at the frequently asked questions below.

If your question is not answered below, you can always send an email to: [email protected]

Converting your starting number to 2021 has been made possible by these sponsors:

When we convert your participation to next year, we will automatically put you in the correct age category.

All extras that you have ticked and paid for will be retained to 2021. For administrative reasons, it is not possible to return these to you separately.

By changing your ticket to 2021, the survival of the Enschede Marathon will not be endangered. In this way, Enschede Marathon can make the next edition great again financially and sportively next year. However, if you already know that you are unable to attend the 2021 edition with a good reason, we will return the registration fee (including any extras ordered such as t-shirt / medal engraving / cancellation arrangement, etc). For this we would like to receive an email at [email protected] During the registration before April 19, 2020 and April 18, 2021 we have offered the possibility to conclude a cancellation arrangement of € 2.50. A few have made use of this arrangement and have received their registration fee back (minus € 2.50). Because these are special circumstances and we now make an arrangement for everyone, we will also deduct € 2.50 when you refund your registration fee.

We are currently conducting a lot of talks: with the municipality, safety region, our runners committee, World Atletics, sponsors, athletics union, other major top sporting events, etc. This is how we form an idea of whether we can organize a race at a later date in 2021 and in what shape. Many scenarios are conceivable and there are interests involved. In this way we gently peel everything off and carefully work out all scenarios. Of course, we keep a close eye on developments. In all scenarios, your health and safety are paramount. As soon as we know more we will message you.

As usual, you can convert your registration to another distance of your choice. However, you will not get the difference in money back. If you want to convert your distance to a greater distance, you pay the difference. But you can always do this at the registration desk during the weekend. This can be done up to an hour before the start of the distance you are going to run. But then you can no longer have your name on the start number.

No, your race number is not transferable to another person.

For the time being, the Volksbank Münster Marathon will continue. We are in close contact with Münster. As soon as we have news, we will inform you personally.
